Hi
I have a plasma with 852 x 480 pixel definition and a PC in (DVI-I) input. The plasma is progressive scan.
Will a dvd player with a DVI output (720p or 1080i) work on it? If yes is it better than a standard connection pal /secam ?

It will work fine, only thing is the picture may start too look too sharp, so you may have to slightly unfocus the image, well, thats what you would do if you could on a projector. Your resolution is only capable of a native 852 x 480, so 480i or 480p would be perfect for it, any higher is no better...
