Ok...Here is my problem...


My cousin recently hooked me up with BitTornado, taught me the basics of bittorent, and then had to go. I have been to probably 50 forums, and I can't find the answer. When I try to download something, it goes super slow...I can never get the circle to go green...I have turned off the firewall and everything like everyone said to, I even added a few ports (the reccommended ones) into it...I have DirecWay Satellite internet, which isn't the fastest in the world, but it's not bad...can anyone help me? I can't figure it out...

the ports that should be free'd should be 6881-6889. i recomend freeing ports 40000 and using 40000 as the client download port. sometimes having a higher port helps increase download speed. also, make sure your torrent has seeds. the more seeds it has, the faster your downloads will go.
