What was your burn speed? What brand of media did you use?

Very important of all we need to know what media are you using, Download DVD identifier and tell us media manufacturer info, also at what speed are you burning the PS2 games? I recommend 4x or less no more than that, also try to get the lastest firmware upgrade for your drive,

Hope it helps, Tell me how you do ;-)

I recommend, if ordering online buy Taiyo Yuden or if store bought buy Verbatim or Fugi made in Japan

You should use: Verbatim DVD-R 8x, Fuji DVD+R made in Japan, Sony DVD-R, you can use Smartbuy but not the best choice, If you decide to buy online get some Verbatim or Taiyo Yuden, you can also get TDK or maxell,

www.nomorecoasters.com , you can find a media quality here, you should not buy less than 1st media class or in case the 2 or 3rd places in the 2nd class media hope it helps ;-)

no, your wrong, i burned at 4 and it worked fine, the fact that my burner cant do 1x is why the game was laggy

Not exactly WRONG, probbably some disc do not support 1x speed and they have write errors when you write at 1x, so probbably that was the factor, although ripfuel its true, but due to the media in this case what he says does not apply, although I burn PS2 iso at 4x (just because my burner does not support less..lol)

if your settings allow you to burn at a slower speed, I have always had better results when slowing things down a bit with PS2 ISO's, this I think is a trial and error process, once you get things to click with your modified setting....stick with it!
