yea I could have said that better. I have my slim ps2 setup to play burned games but I don't know how or know what files I need to burn to the cd/dvd. the specific game is fight night 2. I can play old games I burned from my psone on my ps2 but I haven't been able to play the games I have attempted to burn for ps2. If you could help me please do so.

What do you use to play backups?

You need an ISO file and you can burn that ISO file using DVD Decrypter.Just click on MODE>ISO>WRITE.

Here is a guide that shows how to backup ps2 games using various programs...http://webpages.charter.net/modchipzone/burningps2games.htm

Nobody can help you on your question about downloading games. If you need help with that, go to torrent sites and ask there.

I second PimpDawg's statement
We can't help you find the games to download or the sites to do it from.

We can only help you after you have done all that and already have it downloaded on your system. Then we can give instructions on what to do. But i think if you search this site you can find your answer.

OK, I just have one thing to say. Forget freakin' DVD Decryptor, ISO Buster and all that crap! Get Nero! I've been burning all my games with Nero and have made no coasters at all!
Simply choose DVD, Copy a DVD, choose On-the-Fly if you have 2 disk drives (the other people have been pulling your leg if they say you should use images), and choose the highest writing speed possible that your blank DVD can burn at (example, 4x blank DVDs should burn at 4x). Nero automatically limits the burning speed to the highest your DVD burner can burn at (example, if your DVD burner could burn up to 12x, Nero would limit the speed up to 12).
I'm serious. Stop being such a cheap-skate, using all this freeware, and stop all the hassle with Nero!!!

If your PS2 cannot play your backups, and you've already modded it, then try banging at the wall 7 times. It will have a 1/1,000,000 chance of playing them.

It's worthwhile using DVD Decrypter because it is freeware and it does the job. I have the latest Nero but I still use DVD Decrypter for my PS2 games.

1)you would need a slide card or swap magic or something like that
2)I think that only works with a ps1 gameshark with ps1 backups

the best place in the uk for swapmgic stuff is www.techwizad.com

they even have a so called "exclusive" new tray front, which makes it easier and fool proof to slide/swap
