Ok I have just bought this modchip!! I went to dms3.com and downloading the installation manual and this looks harder then hell to hook up!! Is it or not?? I'm scared I am going to wreck my PS2...And what do you all have to take apart inside the PS2 to hook it up?? And when I'm done will it look like it's even modded?? Cuz I don't want it too...Thanks

i agree with mrlip
You sound like you have no idea what your doing, so get a professional to do it. You have to be very good at soldering to be able to get all the tiny wires soldered to the motherboard. Plus know all the other little tricks like making wires as short as you can for better proformance. And when they do get them to install a laser fix and the ToxicBIOS V1.3 while they are in there. The laser fix is optional but a real good idea, the ToxicBIOS you will need.

And if you try it yourself and screw somthing up then your PS2 will most likely be done for.

Umm it's a solderless modchip...So how can I mess up soldering?? I just need some advice has anyone ever done this and how long did it take??

sorry, missed the EZI part, my mistake.
A solderless should be a piece of cake. The directions are pretty strait forward, just take your time and be careful and you should be fine. Also make sure you read and understand ALL of the directions in the guide before you start the install.
