Liez4Love,
You would be better using DVD Decrypter or the ***now free** DVDFab Decrypter, with DVD Decrypter select "Mode" "File" and select all files and select the "destination" (create your own folder).

Easy as.

Just remember that each movie is going to use approx 4 to 7 Gb of your hard drive space - large hard drive recommended.

Use DVD Decrypter or DVD Shrink to rip movie to your hard drive and then use program such as Power DVD, Win DVD to playback movie.

if your planning on keeping them on your hard drive,
its best to use DVD Shrink and get rid of any of
the extras and compress the movies.

That will save you a lot of space.

Personally I would get a dvd burner.
I have seen the Pioneer 109 for as little as 60 bucks.

But thats up to you.
Good luck

If you just want to play one of the files when windows tells you it can not open the file click on the 'select the program from a list' option and open your media player like WMP. To play the whole movie from your pc open your media player of choice and pull in the whole video_ts folder.

not sure if i can add anything of value yet but i saw the title of this thread and couldn't resist popping by.

I too prefer to keep stuff on DVD's (to quality ones) as hard drives will always fail. Always...
