Hello all and thanks for the help with backing up games. I ordered my flip top and swap magic and have been rolling for about a week now. Most of my games are coming out fine but I am having problems with Tiger woods 05 and NBA live 05. The NBA live stutters and wont make it to the load screen, Tiger takes days to load and sometimes freezes. I use TDK media but I hear verbatim is the best. Does anyone think that getting vebatim media would solve my prob.

Maybe, maybe not. I think both those games need rebuilding as they have dummy files in them. Thats what slow load times/stuttering is usually caused by. What speed did you burn it at?

could be, they are both EA Sports games.
People seem to have problems with those. Rebuilding may help. I have also seen people have better luck burning EA Sports games with Nero rather than DVD Decrypter.
As far as TDK, i used 50 of the TDK 4X DVD-R and didn't have a problem with them. Even though i am about the only person who uses them i think the Philips discs are one of the best around.
Have heard good thinks about verbatim too.
But i gotta get myself to Radio Shack. They are selling 25 packs of Philips 8X DVD+R (which i use for movies but have not tried a game on yet) for only $9.99! I need to stock up while the price is right.
