Look ive tryed both and to tell you the truth i didnt notice alot in terms of speed but i guess lime wire pro would be the faster of the two if i had to choose so there you go glad to be of help you should try out!

i've noticed clients from bearshare and kaaza downloading from me so i'm assuming the pro version allows a connection between other p2p applications.

damn pirates. ANyways, limewire pro is faster because all downloads and results are "turbocharged" and therefore allow more connection while downloading. Using limewwire my avg download speed was 80-160, with pro it is over 160, and usually in the 280s.

Yes the turbocharged pro downloads quicker for me :P its worth getting PRO not just the ordinary limewire.

Limewire Pro still remains the best P2P application i've been on.
Imesh Light comes a very close second specially IM-L Peanuts
