Hi all, just wanna say this is a top site, you guys ahve answered 2 of my questions in under 2 mins. THANKS

Now to my current problem, I brought a LG DVD Burner 4x about 12 months ago which was going great guns up until about 2 months ago. The problems I'm having is when movies have been burnt (everything is successfully completed) and I go to play them it will get to the end (or if split in two to the start of the second half) and will jump, skip, pause & destort. I can burn music files fine, data files fine. It will even work porperly in other peoples PC's but not in mine. I have tried everything I can think of.... changed media from cheapest to dearest and everything in between (different brands, TEAC, SONY, IMAGINE, TKD ETC) and different speeds 1x 2x & 4x nothing makes a difference. It does it in DVD Shrink (reinstalled) Nero 6 (reinstalled) Power Producer DVD (reinstalled). I have had the drive checked out by place I brought it from but the first thing he did was put it in one of his PCs and it worked fine first go. Does any one have any ideas??? I'm running a Celeron/P4 with XP Home - stock as a rock ACER. I have updated firmwire and reinstalled the drive 3 times, but it continuse to cause drama. It dont matter what type of movie I'm burning either, copying disk to disk or movie from the HDD, the same problem occures and genrally in the same area of the movie.

Can someone please help??
