I'm a 19 year old female singer in the Tampa area in FLorida looking for a band. If you know of any bands (be they your own or one you've heard about) that is looking for a singer and would be interested in a female, please let me know. My singing style is that of Alanis Morissette, Kelly Clarkson, Jewel, etc. and can also sing male vocals. Raised on country and heavy metal musics. I took guitar lessons for 3 years a little while back, and with some practice, it shouldn't be hard to get back into it, but not looking to do anything big guitar-wise, really wanting to go strictly into vocals. I have been trained with my vocals since I was 7. I have written a large amount of lyrics and write often about all types of things. Thanks in advace for any info you may have!!
