PSP (ON )BUTTON BROKEN!

My psp was in the black case that it comes with in the box when it fell down on the floor on its side directly on the on switch.
NOW its STIFF and i have 2 use my nail to turn my psp on and off.
Is there a way 2 fix the switch??????????????????????????????????

use 2 paper clip and stick them on both sides ?
just an idea ...
(and yeah, do this while it's off :))

The button is still the same place like when i got the psp but it's just stiff!!!!
Does any1 know how to make it work like normal.(when i push the button it is supposed to go back down by itself but mine just sticks right at the top when it is supposed to go back 2 the middle, So for me 2 turn it on i have 2 push the button up to power and push it back down 2 the middle and do it again 2 turn it off) It is supposed 2 go back down by itself!!!!
So can any1 tell me what 2 do to make work like normal!!!!!

well if you really really wanted to you could try to open it and look to see if there is a spring on that switch.
Good luck with it though and i hope you get it fixed

You should've bough a warranty. I did and if I throw my PSP up in the air and it breaks, I get a new one. For you, all I have to say is 1) You're screwed, (Just kidding!) and 2) you must have really long nails! LOL!
Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh HELP?

I find it funny that stores can actually let you through your PSP up into the air and if it breaks they would give you a new one. I love this country!!! L.O.L.!!! That?s the exact reason why I bought a Warranty!!!

I kept on turning it on and off and the button is not stiff any more but once i put it on hold it sticks and i have 2 force the button up and it goes all the way up and the psp goes off!!!!
but atleast it works good once it is not on hold!!!!!!!

hey Desiboi92, i also bought the warrenty(20 extra bucks) but i dont think the warrenty supports external damage. i think it only works on internal damage.

i have the perfect solution for this !!!!
it really isint that hard,"drop" your psp by "accident" AGAIN so that somthing worse happens to it then send it to sony for the garrenty

yes but the warrenty that your talkin about only supports if you bought it and it is broken out of the companys misuse, if you break it they will luagh in your face and say sorry, not my problem.
