Hey guys n gals. Just built a new system due to old 1 deciding to retire itself. Any ideas if its poss to put previously burnt back-ups back onto my new HDD so that they appear as whatever they were before burning. I.E Image files, AVI files etc. Thus making them available to share etc

Thanks & big smilies in advance

did you burn them as data when you took them off originally.
If so just right click the disc in the drive and copy and paste them to what ever folder or partition you want on your clean system

Ok lets take for instance an 3.8GB ISO File i burnt not long ago. When i burnt the image to disk using Nero 6 it was 1 ISO file. Now it's a burnt working back-up which plays fine in my game console. If however i put the DVD back in the DVD-RW drive its no longer an ISO file as it consists of 1xDir file, 3xASF files, a BIN file, an IMG file and a Speedial File. ( Hope that made sense )

My question is how do i turn it back into 1 ISO file which will then be re-usable to burn another copy,,, Thanks.

You made Iso`s of your discs and put them on your hard drive. You converted them to disc, and then moved to a NEW computer. You want to know how to put them back as an ISO on your NEW computer ???

Use the same method that put them there on your old computer in the first place.....

you got to be more careful with how you ask questions, if you gave me all the details the first time around i would of answered differently, but hey you now have some solutions to your question.
