BUP File Error?

I copied the DVD Hitch to my PC with DVD Decrypter in ISO mode. It took a while since it had to insert dummy sectors. When it was done I got a error saying that the BUP/IFO file could not be patched or something to that effect. Oddly,I ran the movie thru DVD Shrink with no problem,so the error didn't matter. What did it mean though?
