Is there any way out there that you can unlock the region codes for psp as i got hold of some american films but have a japanese import psp

No. Unless some japanese genius codes a homebrew region free umd player for psp :D Like that will happen.

I have the same issue. My psp is from korea while my dad was visiting, and i just bought a new movie and game. The movie does not show what region code it is on the package, or case. Is that illegal to sell umd movies without showing the region code?
