ok i've searched the forum and have yet to find a problem simmilar to mine. I am using the azureus bit torrent client and i have forwarde all my ports from 53000 to 55555 and i am using 53000 in azureus right now. I have set max upload unlimited and max download unlimited.
I am getting about 30kb/s average and I have a 4Mbit connection!!
the highest download speed i have recieved os 100kb/s fer a few seconds. I am using Thepiratebay.org (I know there not the best tracker but I am yet to find a better one). Any help would be GREATLY apreciated!! Thanks - Kyletoff

Sounds to me like you are choking your own connection.

Set upload limit to 35k and download limit to 400k

If your on Blueyonder 4Mbit then this will leave you approx 10k up and 70k down for other straffic and system overhead.

Opening 2555 ports is not going to help your situation. forward the following ports

6881 - 6889 inclusive, and 53000 only.

Also....Yeah PirateBay is a very big site, but perhaps a little slow. Suggest you look around a bit on the following site.

ok well that worked good for a while but now im getting error messages like "UpnP:Mapping 'Incoming peer data port
(TCP/53000)' has been reserved by
'192.168.1.101' - Please select a different port"

and now when i test the port I get an NAT error or it says "unable to test" i am testing with azureus.

why did it work for a while and now this? and how do I fix this?
Please help
thx-Kyletoff

sounds like your comp did have 192.168.1.101, but on a reboot DHCP has given it a different address.

run ipconfig under DOS to see what your current IP address is and alter your router accordingly.
