Ok, Do you have the MP3 files on your computer? Has your computer picked up the PSP?

Ok, go to my computer (assuming you have windows xp) and click on removable disc, there it should have a "PSP" folder and now click in the "PSP" folder, there should be "SAVEDATA"

now dont click any more, now you have to right click, and hit "NEW FOLDER" , then name that new folder "MUSIC" and now you can put mp3s in that "MUSIC" folder.

same applies to pictures, except you need to make it "PHOTO"

Next time try reading the instructions please =)

I'm having the same exact problem. I bought the USB Data Cable made for PSP media, and I've connected my PSP to my computer, but the computer doesn't detect the PSP. Is it supposed to detect it in My Computer? What did you mean by "removable disk"?

Is your psp on and in the menu screen of USB connection? and in USB MODE?

Next, do you see the picture where it says removeable disc?

Thats what it should pick it up as,, but it should pick it up automaticcally, if it doesnt go to your computer,, and i made a sticky thread just for this,,, but no body uses ,, great!

Well when i try to put a music file on my psp it starts to transfer then just stops. My computer gives me a message saying that it can't find the specific file and when i look on my psp it only has part of the song. It will play that part then it says on my psp that the file is corrupt.
