Bittorent help with downloading and PeerGuardian

Hey all

So, i just read the above thread on ports and how to make Bittorents go faster, but I got really worried after reading DrChips comment on the 1st page about security issues, so I got Azerues and PeerGuardian.

Now, I just downloaded these two apps, and I already fixed my router to the settings in the thread (I have Linksys, so it was easy :) and now I need to know how to configure Azereus and PeerGuardian for max security and max downlaod speed (also I'll help upload files - if it can be done securely) .

Now, please keep in mind I am a noob :O !! So talk in noob-like terms please! (EDIT: SHOULD I USE PEERGUARDIAN OR SAFE PEER PLUGIN FOR AZUREUS? PLEASE GIVE INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO CONFIGURE IT!)

Azureus
Step 1: Open up the program: ?start/Programs/Azureus?
Step 2: Once the program is open click View / Configuration
Step 3: Move down to the ?Server? area
Step 4: Finally, Change the Incoming TCP listen port. A range within the region 49152 through 65535 is preferable.

Umm I would pick Peer Guardian becuase i like it better. Then just install it and check the block lists you want and presto.

Also check out www.portforward.com if you have a router and need to forward the ports.
