"No valid disc" error message. The player could have been dropped but no one is owning up to it (four kids, what can I say???) It was a gift from my mother and now we are to go visit and the thing won't work!@#@# It will be the first thing she asks about! I know very little about stand alones. Any advice ( I would guess the most popular will be to buy a new one and hope she doesn't notice... or am I an idiot for letting the kids use it in the first place?) will be appreciated.
