Help: Internal GSA-4082B use as external DVD writer

I have a internal GSA-4082B DVD writer.
I add a USB 2.0 to IDE cable, want to use it as a external DVD writer.

I succeed to burn the DVD but I compare the data in the DVD is wrong to the original file! (I use the verify function in Nero)

I use 2.4X it is no any error message in burning process but finally compare the file have problem.

Anybody can help me?

Hi there,

Did it say Burn Successfull ?

I have never used the Compare Data After Burn option.

One test I do, is run a media CRC read check using DVDInfoPro.

If it read the DVD 100% I assume all the data is there and all sectors are readable !

Next time you burn with Nero, post a full log (Remove Serial #) and maybe we can see in there what's going on !
