Splitting to 2 DVD-r pleeease HELP!!

I've been backing up for a few years now using the Shrink/Decrypter method and havent had any coasters. Now I've been trying to split some of my bigger movies to 2 dvd-r's and am about to just lose my mind...I hope someone can help!!

I've downloaded both DVDFAB & DVDXPLATINUM to use for splitting. I've ripped to my hd using decrypter, and then opened into the two above programs. everything seems to work just great, it creates the disc 1 & 2 files, but then after I burn the discs they will only play on my computer not on any of my standalones. I've tried burning with fab & x, and I've tried just having them rip an image to my hard drive and burning with decrypter...same results no matter what I do.

After trying just about everything, I now have 20 coasters that wont play in anything but my computer, and its the same media I've used with the shrink/decrypter method.

please someone HELP!

You can split the movie using Shrink. Reauthor the movie, use the Set Start/End frames function.

This guide should explain in more detail, it's an older version of shrink but the concept is still the same.

Thanks OU, I have done that before in the past, was just hoping to be able to keep the complete DVD w/ Menus.
