My friend lived in china for a few years, and when he came back, hooked me up with a bunch of bootlegs. But they play perfectly, without modchips. They can boot on their own.

How the heck do they make it so their discs can boot without modding? @_@

they may manufacture them like originals with a disc press . It is very expensive to own one, but if they sell them i guess they might be able to afford one. then they would have the BCA (burst cutting area) like an original disc, that is the only part that a burner can not burn and why you need a mod chip or boot disc to play back ups.
