Hi is there anyone who can tell me if there is a way to convert a region 1 dvd to region 2dvd or any software to help me out

You can easilly Copy a Region 1 DVD into a No Region DVD..(Which means the DVD will not have any region Codes so it will Play on any DVD Player on the Planet)....

Actually Every Copied DVD is Region Free so Simply Copy a DVD and it will be Region free...You can Use DVD decryptor" to rip the DVD to your Hard Drive which will Strip out all of the Copy protections and Region Codes and then use something like "DVD-Shrink" to Strip out the Unwanted Streams and to Compress the DVD if needed and then you can use DVD Decryptor to Burn the DVD and the Resulting DVD will be Region Free and Be Playable on all DVD Players.....

If you Have to actually make a DVD that has a Inbeded Region Code then you would have to recreate the DVD useing an advanced DVD authoring Program that supports Region Codeing Like "Sonic ReelDVD" or "Sonic Scenarist" but these are very advanced and expensive Programs....

Removing the region code may only help part of the problem. Region 1 is NTSC video standard. Region 2 is PAL video standard. Some players can play both without any problem, but some can only play one or the other. If you need to convert the region 1 NTSC to PAL the you will need a converting program. Nero Vision Express (part of Nero 6 Ultra) can do the conversion. Its not a fast process so expect a few hours of time to convert depending on the speed of your PC. If your players can handle both then all you need to remove is the region code as Minion stated.
