ive searched every where and cant seem to find it. i was wondering what is the best cheap dvd burner for burning ps2 disks. and someone else said u dont even need a burner, but i say bs. so if u could answer that in a calm way or give a link that would be fantastic!

you can get one of the best burners (pioneer 109) for $60 at pricewatch.com

I took sly's advise 6 months ago & i hav never had a problem, been burning movie back ups at 12x with no problems! & get 1:1 ps2 back ups first try with good media... I thought pioneer was all audio but they've done something amazing with this writer!

Wish it was in black way back when i got it though...

I can also tell you that the Sony burners are great
DRU-720A is the current model. But it costs a bit more than the Pioneer does.
