I guess just give it a try, that usually means that it will direct boot the DVD9 originals. back ups are a different ball game.
I know for the DMS4 and Matrix Infinity that can play them you had to flash the chip with a new release of features for it to boot DVD9 back ups. Does the Duo2 chip have flash upgrades? If so you might want to check and see what the flash upgrade says it can do.
I just don't want you to waste the DL discs since they ar so expensive. But i reall;y just think it is DVD9 ready and will not play DVD9 back ups from reading this.
