I am looking into getting a budget speaker system and receiver to hook up my pc, dvd, tv, ps2 etc etc.

I was originally looking at a 5.1/6.1/7.1 system but have been suggested to get 2 decent floor speakers possible the mission m33 which are about GBP 150.00 (http://www.avreview.co.uk/review/reviewproduct/mps/ProdID/2182/RER/1) with no sub as the overall sound will be better and then a good receiver. My living room is a converted loft and is about 16ft x 12ft and has a sloping roof.

Im looking to keep the cost down so maybe spend GBP 300-400 overall + cables. For the receivers I have been looking at the Sony STRDB790, Yamaha RX-V357-SILVER, Onkyo TX-SR303E or Denon AVR-1905-B. All the above vary from GBP130 to GBP250.00.I would like a receiver with at least 2 x optical and 1 x coaxial.
