Try changing the ports. I know it may sound stupid but once my ISP throttled my odd ports.
Also has the torrent been deleted off the tracker. Go check you might be downloading only from clients that have Trackerless support.

I also had speed problems. It is still not optimal I think but it is much better than it was. There are many many articles on the internet on how to configure your router and firewall etcetera but that doesn't have to be the problem. For me it wasn't. I just hadn't set my upload speed correctly. Your upload speed should not be too low because then you will be considered a leecher and other peers will limit the bandwidth spent on you. However you should also make sure that your upload speed is not too high. You don't have a very huge bandwidth just like me so that can be the problem. For higher bandwidths defaults might be correct. You should check if your upload speed maximum is not too high. I set it to 13 KB/s cuz my upload max is 16 KB/s (128 kb/s). The upload speed should be about 80% of your upload bandwidth. The problem that arises when your upload speed is too high is that the upload bandwidth which is required for downloading is used. For all download traffic you also require a little upload traffic. If all upload bandwidth is used the acknowledgements of receipt of the packets (the ACKs) cannot be sent in a timely fashion -> packets are resent -> bandwidth is waisted. For me this also resulted in the fact that websites and e-mail server could not be contacted when my torrents were open. I hope this will help you.

he he, Shinken, that is higher than my download speed :) though I am currently using the 'standard' BitTorrent client and I think Azureus is better in that I think. I sometimes get to about 30 KB/s with the standard BitTorrent client but that is about the maximum. Yet ABC gives me terrible download speeds so I think I'll try Azureus... :) (and keep on playing with TCPOptimizer...)

Sorry, Redwood, i do not have the answer to ur question. But, i would like to ask shrinken (or anyone out there with high downloads)..yo man...which sites do u download from. Word on the street is certain sites have better torrents, with more seeders, which increases the speed. I dont need a list, just a few of ur favorite sites. PLEASE REPLAY....thankyou
