ok please excuse me if i'm in the room area for this kind of question. I wanted to know if it's possible to record a movie from VHS TAPE to a DVDR? IF so then what programs and how would i do that? thx...

yes lisa32 you can but to find a specific software you should check out the video capturing from analog sources forum. Basically you would need a capture card or usb cable from the vcr to your pc. the file should be in AVI format and simply convert to dvd compliant files (vob files to be exact) and burn with your favorite software. Pinnacle sells software that has everything you need in the box and it costs about 99 dollars. But as I said earlier a few lines up better to visit that forum here on AD.
