1) Make sure that you have some free space on your phone. If your phone is giving you warnings about not being able to take any more picture delete a few of them and then see if MPT will get them over to your computer.

2) Do a Master Reset on your phone - you will lose customizations, but no data. Go to Settings, Intial Setup, Master Reset. Enter 000000 for the password. The phone will power off then back on itself.

This worked for me - hope it can help someone!
