HD-Advance game picture fading in and out?

I have been using HD-advanced for a while now and for some reason my mercenaries and spiderman 2 game has started fading in and out and the picture gets shaky. None of my other games are doing that and my regular tv does not do this either. Can games get "warped" from playing too much on the hard drive?? That is the only reason I can think of.

Also recently I re-formatted my ps2 hard drive and put mercenaries back on but it is still doing it.

Why just these two games???
