I burned about 75 dvd's with no problem. Now all i get is A Write Error has occured,probably caused by a bad media. I'm using Ridata 8x DVD-R.My dvd writer is an HP DVD WRITER 640c. I'm burning at 1x.what should i be looking for. Forgot to mention that it starts burning sometimes up to 90% and then freezes.what shoud i be looking for? (Burner or dvd's)

Media is indeed the most common cause for burning problems. But before blaming everything on it, may be you could try:
1) burn with another program (use rw for tests)
2) completely uninstall and reinstall the original burning program
3) update your firmware
4) defrag and check hd space
5) check the integrity of your burner
