I downloaded dvd decryptor, followed the guide to read iso. burn it to desktop(I have only one drive, dvd), and then burn the iso to a dvd. My question(s) are: when i copied the iso to the desktop, i got 2 of them. one was the obvious whole file, and the other was like a 4k file. when i went to burn it, i could only choose 1. so was the small file just like a proof that it copied or what. Also, i used to rip dvd games to cd, and found that by using gameshark, i could play them. when it would come up to insert disk, i used the card mnethod to slide it without using the eject button, put it back in and voila, no problems. But now, i burned a dvd to dvd copy of destropy all humans, and idk if it burned right or not because i couldnt get it to play. so, is it just that i need swap magic to play it, or did i mess upo the burn process?

you want to choose the smaller of the two files witch is the mds file and yes you need a mod chip or swap magic to boot the game.

Ok well, if theres 2 files, one being 2 gig and the other being 4k, why the hell would i choose the smaller one? Also, if you buy imported games, ex: i want to order rpg maker 3 but it says its region is in japan. So when i play it, is it in japanese or what, is it even able to play english? thanks

because the mds acts as a feeder to the iso image,in the same way as a cue file does to a bin image

you need a modchip to play imported games,
and you havent stated you have any sort of booting device so if thats the case you are not going to get any ps2 dvd games to boot

btw,welcome to AD :)
