Anyone know the best Apps to use to take a folder with the ENTIRE contents of one of my DVD's and burn it onto a DVD so it works in a standalone DVD player?

ie...DVDXCOPY makes a folder with the entire contents of a DVD on it, but you cant just burn that structure onto a DVD and have it work. You must have to use something that adds a piece of code to make it readable by DVD players. Thanks

No you just need a Video_TS folder with the correct files in it. You will need a program like DVD Decryptor to copy the files though, since they're encrypted.

You don't need DVD Decrypter to burn the files.

If you have your .IFO, .BUP and .VOBs in a VIDEO_TS directory *and* an empty AUDIO_TS directory, you can burn these files directly to a DVD and it will be compliant.

I use RecordNow Max in Data DVD mode.

Oh, also, the directories and files need to be all UPPER case.

Is there a program available that will validate (and report errors) for a full DVD image? I am using Pinnacle Studio 8 to create the video_TS image, but about half the time it creates something that won't play. Their 'support' morons won't even respond to questions. I'd like to see what it is doing wrong so I can at least have a fighting chance at working around the problems.

Thanks.

DVD2One to adjust size

Nero to burn (VTS_Folder)

DONE!! No hardship
