I have been having gameplay and loading problems with some bigger backed up games. I noticed on GTA SA that my file size is 4.499Gb, but my ritek G05 discs come up as 4.489 Gb free space. Is there any way to shrink down some of these bigger games? I have no troubles with my smaller games at all. Has anyone come up with a program like dvdshrink that works on ps2 games?

gta sa is 4.1gb.the actual size 4.499gb in decrypter.the 4.1gb is the size your computer will give on the 1000b=1mb scale.the 4.499gb in decrypter is based on the 1024b=1mb(the real size).and your dvdr will read 4.489gb on your computer but in decrypter it will read 4.7+gb(the real size).

what mod are you using?what version ps2 do you have?

most games can be made smaller by extracting them and sometimes deleting or replacing some files.there is no way to shrink game files like you can with dvd movies.but gta sa cant be made smaller without deleting some music or movie files.a good trick to do is extract the game files and rearrange the game files alittle to get it to run better.
