Is there a difference in the type of motherboard that can go into a laptop as oppose to a desktop? I believe that there is becasue a desktop mobo would be way to big for a desktop. If anyone knows a good site for laptop mobos please drop a link. Thanks for your time.

most definitly a difference between a desktop & laptop as laptopcan't really be expanded like a desktop because of no pci expansion slots. everything is intergrated in a laptop
