Is it possible to back up a PS2 game without using swap-magic or a mod chip? I thought it was people's legal right to back up their stuff, but it is really hard to do. I have:
Easy Media Creator DVD home edition
a DVD-R drive
A CD-RW Drive
A PS2 SCPH3000 (I think)
A busted copy of San Andreas.
A willingness to learn.

What do I lack? I would like to do this as cheaply as possible. on a scale of 1-10 is computer knowledge I'd give myself a 6.

I REALLY APPRECIATE THE HELP!!!!

you are correct, Edable. without some mod to your ps2 (modchip, swap magic, or some combination there of), it is impossible to play back-ups of your games. this question is asked at least once a week and answered the same every time. i recommend trying a search before you ask any more questions.
