Ok, everybody isasking questions like, Does every game needs a patch? What games need patches or need to be rebuilt? Well, with everyone's help we can answer this questions to newbies and other people. Ok here are games that either need to be patched or rebuilt:
NBA Street v3(rebuild)
Fifa Street(patch)
Fantastic 4(patch)
God of War(rebuild)
I know I only have four, but with everyone's help we can keep this going. If you want to add some feel free to do so. Thanks.

We dont have to rebuild so many games. Out of the 20 some backups that I have, only 1 needed to be messed with (God of War). I think if you search the forums, or even just read the offical God of War forums, you'll get a better grasp on how to rebuild games. I dont really think anyone is going to be able to give you a step by step (or want to) on the forum here. You'll be able to find all the answers simply by browsing past posts in the forum. Each game is different in how it needs to be rebuilt (if at all), so its difficult to give you step by step instructions. You just have to start trying and researching past attempts.

I dont know about the 3.6 SM disks. I have the old trusty 2.0 version and have a decent list of games that all work beautifully. The only reason why God of War needed to be rebuilt was because it's a dual layer disk game. Swap Magic will not load Dual Layer disks, therefore a direct copy is not possible. Some altering to make it fit onto a DVD5 (single layer disk) was needed.
Downloaded or backed up, the game files are the game files. Now, Downloading a game is taking a chance that the person on the other end actually knew what they were doing, but what I've heard, there's not any more reason to rebuild the games than if you're backing up your original, unless its got too large of a TOC (table of contents) file to load on it's own.
Another program called DVDLoader v7 from swapmagicfix.com helps some games from having to be rebuilt as well. It allows you to manually load a larger TOC file.
These questions tho, should really be in your other post as this is getting off the topic that serranoX3 wished to accomplish.

Hmm.. I made a direct 1:1 copy of Suikoden III with no rebuild or anything and it runs fine. Granted, I use DVDLoader v7 to get it running, but I didn't have to do anything to the ISO. Does this one only work for some?? I use SM 2.0 on a v7 PS2.

MGS3: SNAKE EATER doesn't need patching or rebuilding... straight 1:1 copy using dvddecrypter and Nero at 8 speed..worked perfect for me on my V5 ps2 with sm3.6...
Also Final fantasy x... same method.. works perfectly.
