Cross Flashing Lite-on

I have a lite-on sohw 822s burner, which only burns dvd-rw. I found a cross flashing tool at codeguy website and i used it to patach. This tool would allow me to be able to burn dvd+/-rw. It work exepton restart my computer wasnt able to loacte i, i am willing to give it another chance because i probably messed up the procedure. Another thing that happened was that when i was burning the dvd-r disk the burner was blinking orange instead of the green that i have always seen, so is that a good thing since i have never seen my computer with that color. the burn was not succesfull though.


Does any one here know any factors of any mad things that could happen after i cross flach my liteon.

I am sure it must not all be good, there has to be a catch or a bad thing that happens.

Any Help would be appreciated.
