Does Xploder v4 play CD/DVD game backups?

My question is does the Xploder v4 (PAL cheating CD) play CD/DVD backups wth the codes actually working? I've tried booting the disc, activating the codes and then switching with Swap Magic v2.0, but the codes do not work on any games. Any suggestions?
