I am curious about knowing all the names of the P2P clients/servers that were being used, when these filesharer's caught their cases with the RIAA? Also I have noticed that some filesharers have put all of their shared files inside a folder, that's name is called "disclaimer" and anyone who should want to look at this persons shared files would have to go through this folder named "disclaimer", in order to see any files this person has available. Would stating such a disclaimer in the folder titles really offer any protection for them? heres a few lines of the disclaimer folder:
"Warning For controversial reasons, if you are affiliated with any government, police, investigative, ANTI-Piracy group RIAA, MPAA, Universal Fox, any other movie production company or video game company or console manufacturer or distribution company or group, or any other related group, or were formally a worker of one. You CANNOT enter or download files from my computer. If you enter my computer you are not agreeing to these terms and you are violating code 431.322.12 of the Internet Privacy Act.........".
It continues on to a much greater length but I'll save the bandwidth. This is actually spelled out over a number of folders instead of just one. Anyways I hope what I am asking isn't misunderstood, as it is sorta difficult to describe using text! thanx for the info, sh
