Good day all, I had to buy a new router recently. The new router is a smc7004vbr router. I have turned off winxp firewall as well as the router firewall, but I am still getting the yellow light while downloading with bit torrent, and download speed has been reduced. Before I bought this new router I was getting fast download speeds, and everything was green. Any info on this would be great......

You need to learn how to forward your ports for your particular brand of router.

Leave you firewall ON, just allow your BT client access to an outside connection on ports of your choosing.
