I have a 52" Widescreen RCA HDTV and I am going to connect an RCA Progressive scan DVD player to it. My question is:

Will there be a noticeable difference in picture quality by using RCA brand component cables (pic below) vs. "high end" component cables?

RCA 6' Component Video Cable, HDTV Ready

 Copper signal conductors
 Braided and foil shields minimize interference
 Clear PVC outer jacket
 Integrated color-coded labels
 24kt gold-plated connectors
 Anti-kink strain relief

as long as cables are up to spec (75ohm) and the 3 cables are the same length, you are fine. Do not buy Monster...If you want to waste money, buy the RCA and send the difference in price to me, I'll buy a DVD=A in your honour.

yeah, the only difference will that your wallet will be about $75-$100 lighter. if you have digital cable try to call your company and see if you can give them some story about not getting the right cabled and see if they will hook you up for free. I did that and they told me i could go to any walk-in service center and pick them up.

worth a shot right? but no they are all the same. im running a 60" phillips plasma HD with the cable company's cables and my buddy brought over his monster's, no difference except mine were free and he paid $200.

hope this helps

'da poof :)
