i have a copy of ace combat 4, and i am unable to play it. I tried makeing a backup but there are unreadable sectors, probably because my bro soaked it in water. is there any way to read the unreadable sectors???

how does water mess up cd's? i highly doubt that is the problem...let it dry thoruoghly and it should be ok...i have cleaned ps2 games with water, ran them under a faucet with water and have had to problems...that was when i was like 12, and i used to do it with ps1 games back in the day....

I can see it messing up a disc if you soaked it for a few hours or so, maybe it would take a bit longer than that but eventually....

Check out ScubaPete's guide (link in my sig) where he talks about hard to rip DVDs. I know we're not talking about movies here, but it still may help.
