Here is my problem: I have been burning dvds on my laptop computer for over a year and now recently have been running into a problem. I use dvdcopyxpress and it works great. Lately I go through the whole process of burning a dvd, but when its done, there's nothing on the disc. I look at the back of the disc and it has a ring around it like something has been burned to it, but it doesn't play anything. Also some of the last few that did come out seemed to be kind of choppy or pause a few times. I was wondering is my drive going out on my laptop or what? But it stills burns cds perfectly. Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have you tried any other software just to rule out X Copy? I know I had a world of probs with that program. Try DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter (both free) just to see if you get the same results.

Also make sure your firmware is up to date. Did you switch media recently? Make sure you are using quality media like TY and Verbatim.
