Hi, I'm new here. Just downloaded a Ps2 game called Madagascar Pal Multi 5. It was all originally in a rar file, i extracted it and came out to be like the files that you would get if you would of put the game in a DVD drive and it automatically plays/ opens in a folder with the game files. The folders are IMAGES, IOP, LEVELS, STREAMS, VIDEO, A .bin file whick is named DUMMY that you can't burn---I tried, a SYSTEM SpeedDial file, and SLES_532.26 file. How would i burn this???
Hmmmm.... Im no expert but I really am not 1 for downloading games. If i recall, DUMMY files are in there for copyright protection, so u shouldn't burn it. Also, it dosent sound as if all the games files are there. System file is on every game, and the SCES/SLES file also. But I think there should be other files there also, with data on them...
you have extracted the file one step too far, those are the files that are contained in the iso.
try extracting the rar files again, this time only once
if this is still the same, load all of the files into nero burning rom (iso/udf option) as if you were rebuilding a game, then burn it,see if it works
see here.....http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/197949
btw, good luck to you,and hope you can understand french, because this game maybe not be multi 5

About what Hursty said, I downloaded a .rar file that contained all of these files, i didn't extract too far. There isn't any .iso file anywhere just them files and folders with other stuff in them. I'll try to see if i can losd the files in Nero and burn.

not true,.....you must add this file in as well
that is not exactly true ...ive copied several games recently without replacing the dummy files(just deleting them) and they work fine.
some dummy files you can just delete (i also did with Bloodrayne 2)
But i would say it is best to just replace the file with a
dummy (ha-ha) (blank notepad document of same name) dummy file
And as far as putting them in Nero there is only one small catch, you have to know what order the files go in. They have to be put into Nero in the same order they appear on the original disc if you were to open it up with ISO Buster.
that is another misconception.sometimes rearranging the file order helps the game run better.
ive rearranged the file order on several games.it was the only way i got shadow of rome(excellent game by the way)to play.and have told other people to rearrange files on some games and it worked for them.but using isobuster as refernce to file order wont hurt most of the time.
