i've searched through the fourm and i found a lot of threads on it but none seem to help me...so heres the story

i have my AR max back up (i converted it into a DVD because my ps2 can't read CD's some disc read error i can't seem to fix)

so i boot my AR MAX dvd through fliptop with swap magic 3.6
load the codes
i put in swap magic dvd, swap with the game back up
but it always freezes at a black screen

i would try the long 15 step method i see in the other threads but i can't ready CD's and my AR MAX is a dvd back up...any help on loading the cheats?

Try this method alright:

1.)Boot your ARMax with Swap Magic Dvd
2.)When the ARMax screen comes up,eject and place the Swap Magic Dvd back into the PS2.It will show a loading screen and then you can go to your code selection.
3.)Once you have your codes selected for your game,let it boot up the Swap Magic Dvd.
4.)Now here is the part that you are missing,use DvdLoader,you can probably find it by googling it or off a PS2 website that you are pretty familiar with.Swap the Swap Magic Dvd disc with the DvdLoader disc at this point using your method to trick the PS2 fliptop/slidecard etc...
5.)Once DvdLoader loads up,hit eject again and place the Swap Magic Dvd back in.
6.)When it recognizes it is a PS2 disc at the bottom left of the screen.Hit the X button and it will display a screen that says EA BOOT METHOD.
7.)Using your boot method that tricks the PS2,insert your backup fliptop/swipe card etc... and press the X button.It should now load up with codes on.

I know it is alot of steps just to use codes,but this is the only way that I can get my codes to work.I am a fliptop user,but it should work the same for slidecard as well.
