i had jak3, figured out how to patch it and everything. i assumed that i backed it up correctly at first but it turns out that i didnt. i burned the iso to dvd in nero as a regular iso. didnt realize that i should have archived it for later use. now the jak3 dvd only shows up as 211MB. i can mount that iso in alcohol and the virtual dvd shows the full 4GBgame. i tried to put that virtual dvd image on the ps2 hd with winhiip, but it got to the first sony screen and stopped. should i use ps2cdgen and dvddecrypter or something to make it work as a ps2 game before i send it thru winhiip?

sorry can't help with your questions, but just to let you know that I backed up this game with no patching etc required and it plays brilliantly with no errors etc.
just decrypt original to hdd then burn iso to disc with Nero or similar if don't have Nero.. i use 8 speed write by the way, hardly ever have problems with burnt dics.

hope that helps you
