BOOT DISCS - can they be made or downloaded?

So I can burn the PS2 games but because of the bad sectors or something else (I can't remember what it was called, but i read it on the forums earlier) they won't work on the PS2 without a modchip or boot disc.... Well can boot discs be made or downloaded? What do they consit of?

NO. You need an original boot disk. Or a modchip. This question is asked every day, read the forums rules and search before you post.

I don't think it is possible without getting them pressed or buying a pressing machine for dvd media.If you download a boot disc for PS2,it won't directly boot so it is pretty much pointless unless you want to upgrade I guess.The boot discs are made from a pressed game,and has bad sectors so a dvd burner doesn't have a chance of making a direct boot backup.You are better off buying a modchip or a set of boot discs man.There is a tutorial on PS2dev.org on how to make something similiar to the cdloaders,but if you can program pretty good I would say look into that.You would still have to get the discs pressed though in order for direct boot method.

Well you could go to www.exploitstation.com and learn how to play backups with just an ARmax with USB flash drive and a cleverly cut credit card. :)
