I couldn't find a better place to post this topic, so here goes: Is it possible to convert a PSP game to a PS2 game? I was just wondering.

So then does anybody know of any good PSP emulators that have even the slightest chance of working on a PS2-comaptible disc? I really want to play FF7: Crisis Core when it comes out, but I don't want to buy PSP just for it (I have a low budget and I'm saving for PS3).

well, this is my understanding of the situation:

PS2 games have a file on the disk that tells the PS2 to start the game. you would need this file, but thats saying if you were able to rip the PSP game which is incredibly hard. only a couple of UMD games have been ripped, and i have no idea where to find them.

but you could use Swap Magic/other programs like it or a mod chip to load the game from the disk...if that made any sence.
