Burning Online PS2 games

I have tried to backup ps2 online games without any success.I've backed up and burned non-online games perfectely without any problems.I'm currently using Memorex DVD-R media;could this be the cause of the online games not booting up properly?I'm using the SwapMagic Discs 3.6 on my slim ps2.Any help would be appreciated,thanks.

I dont play online PS2 games as I dont have a fast connection at home, but from forum posts that I've read on ps2nfo.com, you need to apply a patch to games if you want to go online. Check out that site and see if they have anything for the game you are wanting to take online.

yea u need to patch it..theres a program called windip that patches your iso or mds file..heres a link to downloading windip
