Hello, im new to this forum, although i am familliar with it because i've been rading it for quite some time now, and i was wondering how to make a backupof a ps2 game, beacuse i have used alcohol 120% once, for metal gear solid snake eater but it only let me play the first mission, so i was wondering if these were the steps:

1) Use DVD decrypter to read the image file from the DVD( ps2 game) then extract it to your hard drive, which it is then an .iso file.

2) Then i just use DVD decrypter to put the .ISO image onto a DVD and then i just play the game using my swap magic pro?

Would that work, because it feels a bit too easy. Thank you

Relax, patients will get you everywhere my friend, this is not an easy hobby to have. You must be willing to throw away loads of dvd r and keep trying each time you fail.

You have chosen a quite recent game, so you can be ashured it has recent copy protection.

Metal gear solid 3, snake eater has a dummy file in it, so any copys you attemp to make of it will not boot correctly, to make a sucessfully copy you will have to fix this first, follow this guide on rebuilding games, and it should work out fine.

Scroll down untill you get to Dummy files!!!
